**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and monitoring dietary and fluid intake.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Follow individual care plans to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on client progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults is a requirement of all our employees irrespective of the roles they undertake.

**Skills**
- Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Experience or knowledge of care plans is beneficial for understanding client needs.
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others is crucial for success in this role.

Hours will be 24 per week working from 8.00pm to 8.00am

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.60 per hour
