Digital Business Innovator - Connected Instruments

Location: Malvern, Bristol, or Netherlands (Almelo/Eindhoven)

This role will require up to 10% global travel visiting colleagues and customers

Remote Working: 2 days per week (part of this role will include being on-site to liaise with colleagues across the organization (R&D, IT, Marketing, etc.)

Hours: 37.5 (This role operates in a flexi-time scheme. Overtime is unpaid)

Flexitime: (core hours are 09:00 - 14:30) to help you to achieve a good work-life balance

Package: Competitive Salary + 25 days (plus Bank Holidays) + Benefits + Pension Scheme + Bonus

Frontier Analytics

Our Frontier Analytics group was created to support our customers with innovative services around Internet-of-Things, instrument connectivity and data science.

The Role?

As our Digital Business Innovator, you’ll have the freedom to develop our digital roadmap, and go-to-market strategy to ensure our Smart Manager Platform is aligned across the product portfolios, meeting our customers and our ambitious business goals.

What will you be doing?
- Identify and define needs from external and internal customers for novel Connectivity and Data services, and the customer value associated with them.
- Understand the Solution Context for ‘Smart Manager’ in our customer environments and within Malvern Panalytical’s processes.
- Develop and communicate the Program Vision, Roadmap and Features required to meet customer’s needs, and create actionable Business Cases.
- Manage and prioritize the high-level flow of work for the Agile Release and Solution Trains in creating and delivering a continuous flow of value in close collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Collaborate with customer success and support functions to ensure uptake and retention of customers.

Mandatory Skills:

- Theoretic knowledge of digital innovation - Knowledgeable of existing technology trends
- Proficiency of successfully expediating digital innovation for commercial growth to upscale product services
- An exceptional communicator, effectively engaging with diverse, cross-functional audience to support your vision.
- Big Picture Thinker: ability to take an encompassing approach to strategically analyse business services using technology trends
- Exposure to Agile/Waterfall Frameworks

Nice To Have’s
- MBA is an advantage
- Possess 5+ years’ experience in product management and/or development related roles within digital B2B product solutions, ideally in materials analysis or related industry
- A proven track record of implementing IoT strategies
- An interest within tech start-up culture
