Secondary Sen Teaching Assistant

**SEN TA - Mainstream Schools and Special Schools required**:
This well funded and modern specialist provision in Manchester is looking for adaptable, friendly TAs to provide tutoring across the school.
Experience of working with those with MLD and SEMH needs is preferred, as is working with pupils at varying levels of attainment. Knowledge of the Maths or English curriculum KS1-4 is also desirable.
This would be a long term position to provide tutoring to a number of pupils in small groups for the remainder of the academic year.
**The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should**:
- Have experience working with SEN students
- Have training or experience in Makaton, PECS, or be Team Teach trained
- Be flexible and patient, as the Special Needs will vary
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
- Be committed to work full-time
