**SEN Teaching Assistant - Tameside - ASAP**

We are working with a secondary school in Tameside, who are looking to secure the services of an outstanding Teaching Assistant, for a long-term position to support pupils with additional needs. This particular role is to support the needs of students withSEN, who may display low-level challenging behaviours and can become disengaged from learning quite quickly. You must be comfortable with EBD/SEMH. To be successful in this role, it is essential you are calm, resilient and overall, have a good sense of humour.

This post is to start as soon as possible and will be a long term position until the end of the academic year.

**CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS**
- Location - Tameside

- Full time
- Minimum rate of pay - £80 per day
- Hours - 8:30 am - 4 pm

**EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Degree educated with a good classification
- Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)
- Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential we can provide training)

**TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST**:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional child related references
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses including safeguarding and behaviour management
