Humly is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 1 students in Burnley. **Key Responsibilities**
- Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to Key Stage 1 students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum effectively.
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated activities to meet the unique needs of SEN students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
- Monitor and document student progress, offering valuable input for Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised strategies.
- Support students’ social and emotional development through encouragement and appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, SEN coordinators, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent experience working with SEN students in a primary school setting.
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to working with young children.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by SEN students and the ability to implement effective support strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Organisational skills and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of Key Stage 1 learners.

Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week
