Join us to lead the Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse team in IS Applications, as we embark on a new chapter to ramp up the University's strategic business intelligence capability in conjunction with our partners in Governance and Strategic Planning.
**The Opportunity**:
The BI Team Lead will be pivotal to the success of the partnership between IS Applications and Governance and Strategic Planning (GaSP) and will also be a key member of the wider University network of strategic business intelligence professionals. Reporting to the Enterprise Architect, the postholder will also work closely and regularly with the Senior Business Intelligence Analysts in GaSP, as well as their Strategic Business Intelligence Programme Manager, a new open-ended post currently being advertised in parallel with this one (see link below).
**Your skills and attributes for success**:
- Experience delivering quality BI and data warehouse solutions.
- Experience leading an ETL team using Agile development methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a flexible approach to problem resolution and an ability to deal appropriately with changing requirements.
- Ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivation to work for the University
