**_What are we looking for?_**

We need a person with fantastic work -ethic and great team spirit. Passionate about their job role with the flexibility to deliver it. The **_Credit Controller_** will play an important role within the Accounts department, this position requires communication with colleagues and other departments within the organisation.
- Must have knowledge or previous experience in using Sage 200
- Provide support to Department Manager and accounts team with other administrative ad-hoc activities.
- To work closely with other members of the accounts team to ensure smooth operation of all aspects of the Accounts department.

**Duties Responsibilities**
- Full ledger coverage of 600+ Clients nationwide
- Chase clients to ensure that payment is made to contractual terms and to meet collection targets set by company, ensure a proactive approach is applied to collections and that high volume of clients settle within terms.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date records, chasing history, and any reason for non-payment of debts and actions taken to pursue the outstanding debt daily, providing reports on outstanding and aged debt as and when required.
- Reconciling customers accounting balances, providing high level reports monthly to senior managers and provide continuous advice on complex reasons for non-payment of debts.
- Query resolution. Issue reminder letters and statements of account.
- Providing chasing commentary on your accounts for use within ledger reviews.
- Monitor outstanding balance against set credit limit and escalate to Sales Team when limit exceeded.
- Meet monthly department and personal Targets.
- Prevention of debt more than 61 days Plus. Improving cash flow by improving cash collection.
- Identify high-risk debt and escalate the collections procedure to minimize the likelihood of bad debt.
- Processing Credit Notes and Invoices when required.
- Providing support to the line manager and Finance Team. Undertaking ad hoc responsibilities and projects as required and ensuring the team objectives are met.
