**About Us**:
Learn Active Coaching CIC is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of individuals through inclusive community-based programmes. We work with a wide range of participants including older adults, disabled individuals and those who are inactive or facing health inequalities.
**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate **Wellbeing and Physical Activity Officer** to lead and deliver a variety of inclusive sessions tailored to:
- Adults aged 50 and over
- Disabled adults
- Young people and adults who are inactive
Your role will be to improve **mental health**, **inclusion** and **healthy lifestyles**, while addressing **health inequalities** through engaging and accessible activities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Deliver a diverse range of physical activity and wellbeing sessions in community settings.
- Adapt sessions to suit the needs, abilities, and interests of participants.
- Encourage long-term participation by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Promote physical and mental wellbeing through fun, purposeful interaction.
- Build strong, positive relationships with participants, community partners, and stakeholders.
- Collect feedback and outcomes to support ongoing improvement and funding reporting.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- Experience delivering physical activity, wellbeing, or inclusive programmes in community or health settings.
- A relevant qualification in sport, fitness, health promotion, or wellbeing (e.g. Level 2/3 Fitness Instructor, Coaching, Mental Health First Aid).
- A genuine passion for helping others improve their lifestyle and wellbeing.
- The ability to **engage and motivate** participants, with a **warm and approachable personality**.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A flexible approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work across multiple locations and at varying times (some evenings/weekends may be required).
**Desirable**:
- Experience working with older adults, disabled people, or individuals from underrepresented communities.
- Knowledge of health inequalities and inclusive practice.
