The Sainsburys Reward & Benefits team is responsible for the development delivery of Sainsbury’s core and voluntary benefits programmes, including Private Healthcare, Colleague Discount, Holiday Buy, Cycle Scheme, LoveIt Discounts etc. As a Benefits advisor You will help develop the communications of benefits to colleagues within the Group, driving participation, understanding and act as the primary point for queries from colleagues, suppliers and the HR Operations teams.

**What you need to do**
- To support in the day-to-day management of delivering our benefits programme, including exceptional query management and maintaining relationships with all our external suppliers
- Own the day-to-day relationship with the HR Operation teams on Benefits matters, ensuring the team have a clear point of escalation and are delivering against agreed SLAs
- Monitor and track benefit usage across the Group, as well as colleague feedback about our benefits offering, reporting trends to the Senior Benefits Manager
- Actively participate in monthly supplier performance review meetings, organising and attending meetings, producing agendas and minutes and maintaining appropriate records of all decisions made
- Ensure accuracy of supplier invoices
- Develop strong relationships with the HR teams within Sainsbury’s Argos and Sainsbury’s Bank on all benefits matters
- Monitor, review and seek colleague feedback about our benefits offering, reporting trends to the Senior Benefits Manager and wider Reward team
- Complete benchmarking surveys and requests relating to benefits and analyse benchmarking reports to ensure we remain appropriately positioned in the market with recommendations made to the Senior Benefits Manager for any improvements
- Play an active role in any benefits relating projects, helping to support their successful delivery

**What you need to know and show**
- Keen interest in the fields of Benefits and Reward policy
- Keeps abreast of the competitor developments relating to benefits and general trends
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and numerate, with strong attention to detail
- Good judgement and commercial acumen, understanding when to escalate matters as appropriate
- The ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at any one time, with limited direction
- A colleague focussed approach to all communications
- Ability to influence and communicate (both verbal and written communication) to a wide range of stakeholders
