£37,601 to £44,179
BS Social Care are proud to be working alongside a reputable and well-established north east children's residential home provider to find an experienced, dynamic deputy manager.
The deputy will assist the manager in the direction and supervision of the staff team enabling the provision of excellent care in a safe environment for the children who reside there. You will have excellent communication skills and extensive experience ofmulti-agency work. Experience is a must here, you will have a proven career in children's residential and enabling young people fulfil their potential and help achieve goals they have set out for themselves.
You will have experience in multi-disciplinary childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve best outcomes for young people. In providing a secure and positive environment, you will be an innovative thinker in creating a positiveenvironment for the young residents to flourish.
You will be expected to have:

- A relevant qualification i.e. Diploma level 3 in Children's residential / Health and Social Care or equivalent and working towards, or have a willingness to work towards, a level 5.
- Extensive understanding and experience of Ofsted regulation
- Experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting.
There is a company allowance when you join the organisation plus an on-call allowance. In order to give you a chance at career progression, you may be able to be put through relevant qualifications to move up the career ladder.
