Brook Street Social Care are working alongside a nationwideorganisation which supports Children and Young People and their families in residential services, who are currently looking for a Deputy Manager to join their growing team in Stockton. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager to ensure that all of the young people in the home receive the best quality of care. You will influence your team to promote the importance and principles of therapeutic parentingas a way of allowing the young people to develop positive relationships so and integrate within real life social settings. You must have a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People or equivalent. You must have leadership experience, and the ability to confidently manage a team. You must have experience in working in a children's residential setting, and havea resilient nature. You must also be a driver for this position. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to progress and enhance their career in leadership. You will be responsible for offering ongoing support and supervision to your team, therefore the ability to demonstrate leadership is essential. You will promotelearning and development opportunities and ensure that the team are motivated to continually strive for improvement and best practice.
