Team Lead for Front Door Team

The post holder will coordinate and lead the ongoing development and management of the Front Door Team. The post holder will work clinically within the team and lead the daily referrals meetings, as well as providing guidance, supervision and line management to ensure an efficient and reliable responses to new referrals.
The post holder will lead on developments and innovations within the team to reduce waiting times and increase brief interventions offered within the Front Door team.
Work is underway to develop a system wide single point of access (SPA) within Newham and the post holder will work with senior CAMHS management to develop these plans with our partner agencies.
- To provide leadership and management of the Front Door Team (FDT), in order to maintain good quality of triage responses and to support the development of new initiatives such as drop-in services, self-referrals and brief intervention.
- To coordinate the day to day operational work of FDT and be responsible for routine decision making and risk screening regarding all referrals, linking with senior duty for complex cases or those with significant risk.
- To form good working relationships with CAMHS colleagues and partner agencies to support the interface and flow of referrals between FDT, CAMHS teams and partner agencies,
- To contribute to the development work of the Single Point of Access (SPA)
- To provide clinical services within the triage system
