The Council is seeking an Internal Communications Officer to join its Communications and Marketing team to be an expert in developing and delivering internal communications activity for the organisation to inform, influence and engage its workforce.
We are committed improve internal communications and engagement activity to support the workforce on messages of change, wellbeing and key objectives.
We are looking for the next great addition to our dynamic communications team. Someone with creative flair and innovative ideas to deliver engaging content using a range of channels.
As the Internal Communications Officer, you will operate in an exciting environment where no two days are the same.
**Duties of the role**:
We are looking for a confident and creative team player who is able to start as soon as possible to deliver high quality internal communications to support our Transformation Programme, People Strategy and employee engagement initiatives in line with the agreed internal communications strategy.
You would also help maintain and develop the council’s intranet site, COLIN, and work with the wider communications team to provide internal communications support to other projects
**Qualifications and skills required**:
You will have knowledge and understanding of Adobe Indesign/Illustrator. It would be an advantage if you hold an understanding of photography and video production and creating strong images and videos to support the delivery of internal messages.
Working within the Communications and Marketing team, you’ll be able to work under pressure, as well as a willingness to learn and develop, will be very important.
