**New Product Development specialist**

**Salary**: £35,000 - £40,000
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

**THE OPPORTUNITY**:

- Work alongside Design Engineers to ensure all production and purchasing requirements are in place from initial conception to finished results.
- Create New Product test procedures - report results into management.
- Develop jigs, fixtures and tooling for New Products and product manufacturing.
- Provide specifications for Prototyping.
- Complete project handovers from engineering to production and purchasing.
- Liaise with external test bodies.
- Liaise with suppliers.

**THE CANDIDATE**:
**Essential**
- New Product Development experience
- Lean manufacturing or production knowledge
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Engineering qualification

**Desirable**:

- 2D and 3D CAD
