Functional Support - Legacy HR Manager
**RESPONSIBLE FOR**
Supporting:
Hotel Management Team / Hotel Team Members
**MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**
Core responsibilities to drive a responsive, professional and customer focused HR function across the hotel, supporting recruitment, payroll, development, retention and welfare of all team members and employees

- Dealing efficiently with staff welfare issues
**Essential Criteria**
- Work closely with hotel management, assisting with the understanding and implementation of policies and procedures
- Ensure HODs provide complete ATR process including right to work
- Ensure tight payroll deadlines are adhered to, working closely with finance and Legacy HR
- Manage HR casework including sickness, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, contractual changes, restructures and general people matters
- Provide guidance to managers on the interpretation and implementation of contracts of employment, terms and conditions, legal responsibilities and policies and procedures
- Provide advice on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits
- Create, review and implement policies
- Prepare monthly and ad-hoc HR and management reports
- Act as the internal point of contact for the business on pension related matters, signposting employees where appropriate and keeping up to date on the Company’s pension arrangements
- Manage and continuously improve key HR processes including inductions, exit interviews, succession planning initiatives, well-being initiatives and health and safety related processes
- Review the use of casual workers on an ongoing basis, working with the business to implement flexible working practices that support business needs whilst mitigating legal risks
- Work closely with managers, coaching and upskilling managers on all HR related matters
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture within the teams
- Undertake annual salary reviews and benchmarking exercise
- Update information on all HR systems both electronically and manually, maintaining accurate records relating to staff
- Coordinate inductions for new staff
- Ensure department training is implemented and adhered to throughout the hotel.
- Build a working relationship with local Schools /colleges and enterprises
- Arrange external services such as staff welfare and counselling
- Order and issue uniforms/ name badges to all key team members
- Any other duties as required by Management
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: £11,840.00 per year
