**Project Coordinator**

**Remote (some travel to Southampton HQ and other Society locations)**

**Full time, 12 months FTC**

**Salary: £30-33k DOE**

Our client, Foresters Friendly Society, is a well-established financial services company based in Southampton, Hampshire. They are a mutual, which means that profits are distributed to their members through policyholder bonuses to their savings and investment plans. Foresters Friendly Society put members at the heart of all they do and have been delivering financial products that are competitive and straightforward for over 185 years.

They are now looking for a confident and influential **Project Coordinator** to join their growing and busy team. You will be assisting the Society in the delivery of operational and strategic projects, processes and initiatives.

**Project Coordinator**, the role:

- Assisting in the management of project delivery from inception to benefits realisation
- Ensuring project timelines are adhered to and work products meet quality standards
- Managing stakeholder requirements, conflicting priorities and schedules
- Overseeing project documentation, such as approaches, registers and logs
- Modelling and analysing current state business processes and design the future ones to replace or supplement them
- Securing and allocating project resources
- Scheduling and minute project meetings
- Collaborating with outsourced providers to deliver desired project outcomes
- Providing regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Conducting GAP analysis
- Undertaking other reasonable duties at the request of the Head of Insurance Operations

**Project Coordinator**, the person:

- Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 preferred) would be ideal
- Previous experience in a project support role
- Knowledge of scheduling and diary management
- Familiarity with process modelling and design - basic understanding of BPMN, and tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io
- A foundational understanding of Waterfall project delivery approaches
- Proficiency in, or at minimum awareness of project tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure
- Involvement in post-project benefits realisation

Desirable:

- Insurance-related qualifications, such as CIIs Certificate in Insurance
- Previous experience of working on PRINCE2 projects
- Knowledge of Dev Ops Boards
- Previous experience in a Financial Services or other regulated business
