**Job Information**:
Working in the Production and Business Management Team, the primary objective of the role is to support the business and its key stakeholders in delivering world-beating journalism 24/7/365. The Team Assistant role will assist the team to support a range of teams based in Salford and across the UK to ensure that the team’s administrative and operational support remains fit-for-purpose, continually adapting to evolving team and business needs.
**Main Responsibilities**:
The Team Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to the team which provides a wide range of business support services to editorial and operational teams to enable the business unit to achieve its objectives. The assistance will include maintaining, efficiently operating and improving a range of office and administrative processes and systems; preparing documents, presentations and other materials; making routine arrangements, bookings and supporting the effective co-ordination and running of team meetings; and preparing, manipulating and analysing data.
- Demonstrable experience of providing administrative assistance, ideally in a team of similar complexity and in the media sector.
- Highly organised with a flexible and proactive approach and an ability to prioritise and to co-ordinate a busy workload to tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and practical experience of gathering, analysing, collating and presenting data and information in a range of formats.
- Strong computer skills with solid experience of office software packages (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and preferably of other administrative systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, working well with a range of people at all levels and able to target the communication to the audience
