**Job Purpose**

**Job Context**

The Health, Safety, and Sustainability Internship at Lucy Group will offer a dynamic opportunity to support and enhance the company's commitment to a safe, sustainable workplace. The Internship will involve engaging in a variety of projects, from assisting in the reviewing of health and safety documentation, to supporting the development of sustainability initiatives that align with industry best practices. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, providing exposure to real-world challenges and innovative solutions.

**Job Dimensions**

This role will be home based/ Lucy Group Oxford office based. Some visits to Lucy Electrics office in Thame may be required.

**Key Accountabilities**

These will include:
1. Document Updating:

- Assist in the review and updating of health & safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in the review and updating Task Risk Assessments
- Ensure all documentation is current, accurately maintained, and easily accessible.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations related to health, safety, and sustainability.

2. Data Entry:

- Collect, verify, and enter data related to sustainability and upload onto our carbon accounting software.
- Support the analysis of data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Uploading data to EcoOnline (Sypol) to generate COSHH assessment

3. Sustainability Dashboard Support:

- Assist in the design and development of a sustainability dashboard to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Key project: Help develop a Sustainability shared data model.

4. General Support:

- Participate in emissions data audits and inspections.
- Support sustainability initiatives and campaigns (falling under both our people and planet pillar) within the company.
- Assist with administrative tasks and projects as needed.
- Assist in the design of Safety Campaigns
- Checking COSHH items, obtaining Safety Data Sheets

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**
- Currently pursuing a degree in any field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
- Previous internship or work experience in a related field is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of health & safety and/or sustainability principles.
