Buyer/Senior Buyer - Gaydon - Permanent - £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

ARM are delighted to be hiring buyers to join their prestigious automotive client in Gaydon on a permanent basis.

For this role you will need to be CIPS qualified (or working towards) and have demonstrable procurement experience from a previous role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain strategies for a range of commodities
- Keep up to date with marketplace commercial, technical developments and suppliers
- Maintain supplier relationships and work towards achieving value for money and closing cost gaps
- Supplier performance management through launch and current phases
- Ensure quality, cost and delivery performance is maintained at high levels
- Provide commercial and procurement input to cross-functional teams
- Support quality department in achieving full quality approval
- Work towards process improvement opportunities internally

**Requirements**:

- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Previous demonstrable procurement experience
- Understanding of the procurement function at a strategic level and ability to work at this level
- Ability to prioritise tasks with meticulous organisation and communication skills
- Full driving license and willingness to travel on an ad/hoc basis.
