Studio Photographer

Be part of the UK’s largest Family Portrait Photography business with studios across the UK, in the US and Hong Kong. At Venture Fulham the team love shooting families, pets, babies and pretty much anything else you can think of. We have an exciting opportunity at the newly opened Venture Fulham Studio for a Photographer to join our team. Please note rotated weekend work is a firm requirement.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- A passionate individual who is good with babies and children of all ages
- Have experience in portrait photography
- A high knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom is essential
- Very good people skills
- You will have a photography degree or similar qualification
- Someone who has worked in a studio environment before with knowledge of studio operations
- Someone who is a fast learner and doesn’t mind being thrown into the deep end

**THE ROLE**:

- Plan and photograph up to 15 shoots a week. These will be a variety of family, pets, newborn and couple shoots. These will be an enjoyable photographic session which delivers a unique and fun experience
- Confirming sessions by phone, preparing and educating the customer for their ‘experience’
- Create portraits that truly capture your clients personalities and relationships resulting in a personalised session that has hit your clients brief
- Explain our products and prices to customers in a confident enthusiastic way
- Edit up to 10 shows a week from narrowing down in Lightroom, editing 30 - 50 images and then creating a slideshow for the client to watch in their viewing appointment. Attention to detail is a must
- Having meetings with your photography manager weekly to ensure you are making progress during your training
- Ensure all admin is completed for sessions and customer information is used to create continuity through the client experience
- Dealing with wealthy clients and making sure their needs are fulfilled
- Always using 5* customer service and represent the Venture brand in a positive way
- Work pro-actively within the team to achieve positive outcomes and business targets
- You will work 5 days a week 9am - 6pm. Saturday and Sunday work is essential until you are trained and then you will work on a rota basis with two weekends with one day then a full weekend.
