Job Introduction
The Senior Photographer will collaborate with the Styling, Art Direction, Retouch, and Production teams to deliver high quality digital content. This imagery will provide our customers with a seamless, engaging digital experience while ensuring daily production targets are met.

Reporting to the Photography Editor, this role will help shape our creative vision, support our ecommerce strategy, and maintain the highest standards of photographic content.

As part of the Photo Studio team, your work will embody the Selfridges brand, reflecting our commitment to style, innovation, and quality. Multitasking is essential, as you’ll be part of multiple projects simultaneously, each requiring impeccable attention to detail and a deep understanding of our customer base. They will also require a high level of technical knowledge, collaboration and leadership.

**As the Senior Photographer, you will**:

- Be responsible for the required daily output across model and still life sets
- Support and motivate other team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
- Establish and maintain high-quality standards for all photographic content, ensuring consistency and excellence in all images produced as well as an excellent attitude to the role and business
- Actively participate in meetings, sharing ideas and concepts, and effectively communicating information to the team during weekly meetings
- Take initiative in testing innovative shooting techniques, and communicate these changes clearly with the broader team
- Create and update resource packs and guides for Photographers, ensuring these updates are effectively shared across the Photo studio teams
- Provide daily support to the Photography Editor
- Attend weekly Senior Team member meetings and collaborate with the wider Senior Team
- Continuously seek to enhance and implement workflow processes to support the Photography team’s efficiency
- Assist the Production team with the coordination and placement of Photographers on set
- Ensure the seamless operation of the studio in the Photography Editor’s absence
- Assist with maintaining photography equipment, handling repair logistics with accredited companies
- Make quick decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude, always ready to go the extra mile
- Support more junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative and educational environment
- Contribute to creative content across Digital when required bringing innovative ideas and technical skills to the table
- Ensure timely attendance and minimize absences to maintain the studio’s productivity and workflow
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality editorial and eCommerce photography work

**You will have**:

- Extensive experience as a photographer in a studio environment
- Excellent understanding of photography equipment and software (Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One)
- A Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality editorial and eCommerce photography work
- A thorough and comprehensive knowledge of editorial, e-commerce fashion, and still-life photography
