Manchester Metropolitan University is an ambitious university and an inspiring place to work. One of the largest universities in the UK, located in the centre of a vibrant and exciting city, we trace our roots back to the early part of the nineteenth century, when institutions were established to deliver skills and education for local people, improving livelihoods and the economy.
The University has a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality education for all those with the potential to succeed. We achieved the silver award in the Teaching Excellence Framework and the recent REF results, has 85% of our research impact rated as world-leading and internationally excellent. We are the UK's greenest University as ranked by the People and Planet sustainability league tables and are one of the country's top 20 best employers for LGBT staff, as featured in the Stonewall Top 100 Employers ranking.
