**About the role**
The HR Department has a centralised HR Admin Team based in Banbury covering the overall HR administration requirements for 6 areas within the UK. The areas are split between three core HR Admin Assistants; primary areas will be assigned although there isan expectation to support administration across all areas as necessary. The role of HR Admin Assistant reports into the HR Admin Manager also based in Banbury.
The main purpose of this role is to support the business (Managers and colleagues) by completing HR administration tasks and providing HR information, ensuring excellent delivery of the core People agenda; cultivating and reinforcing Best/Booker as A Placeto Get On and a Great Place to Work where **Everyone is Welcome**.
**Role Responsibility**
- Primary HR Admin contact for 2 areas, whilst also supporting the wider team
- Provide first line HR policy/benefits information
- Creating and maintaining colleague records; joiners, movers, leavers etc.
- Providing information on HR admin processes and updating Line Managers on HR admin process changes
- Completing recruitment administration, including contract generation via our online system
- Supporting ad hoc recruitment activity for specific campaigns
- Validating Right to Work checks completed by Line Managers, ensuring we uphold all legal compliances
- Administering the process of formal colleague meetings
- Producing colleague facing letters (formal meeting letters, maternity, welfare etc)
- Track and document absences: provide absence history information to Managers
- Maintain and distribute absence dashboard
- Uploading new starters to Occupational Health for the medical questionnaire, monitoring completion and following up with site-based HR teams and managers
- Analysing HR data and completing/developing HR data reports relevant for Line Managers, parent company and the HR team
- Undertake other duties that may from time to time prove necessary

- Ability to prioritise tasks, providing a responsive service in a high-volume admin office
- Clear sense of ownership and an ability to follow through tenaciously to resolve issues
**Experience relevant for this job**:
- Good written, verbal and listening communication skills
- Tact and discretion with an ability to work in a confidential environment
- Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team with a flexible approach
Working pattern is Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 hours
