**Job Summary**:
Following an extensive procurement, due diligence and business case process, the Trust has confirmed its partnership with Allocate for the supply of workforce deployment systems for the medical workforce. It is vital to the organisational development ofmedical staffing and having transparent processes for the co-ordination of our medical teams, without which the Trust cannot function effectively.
The purpose of this post is to provide effective project management to ensure the development of a robust, sustainable e-rostering service model that meets the Trusts requirements. A key focus of this work will be coordinating inputs from stakeholders andthe systems supplier. The post holder is also responsible for improving the clinical engagement for job planning as this is a key component for e rostering.
**Duties**:
- The role encompasses supporting the Project Lead in all areas of the implementation and being the link between clinical leads and departments and the external system provider teams at a senior level to ensure successful engagement and imbedding of AllocateHealthMedics Suite as well as improving job planning strategy and compliance.
- Effective communication with the medical workforce across the Trust is essential to gain engagement and support the successful implementation of e rostering.
- Engage with key stakeholders within the medical workforce to deliver job planning compliance in line with the Trust’s KPI.
- Provide specialist advice and support as required to the medical workforce and senior clinical leaders.
- Engage with Key Stakeholders, including Clinical Leads, Clinical Directors, Senior Clinical and Operational Managers, General Managers and Rota Co-ordinators internally and the external system provider teams to effectively deliver electronic rostering forthe medical workforce.
- Develop a detailed project plan with external provider and key internal stakeholders, working with the Project Lead.
- Support clinical teams in each directorate to develop local implementation plans and review job planning alongside, to align with the project structure.
- Plan and manage complex professional interactions to deliver expected milestones within agreed timeframes and remedy any identified risk areas.
- Contribute to the development of the implementation budget and monitor expenditure is within agreed budgets.
- Determine operating process and put systems in place to support the successful implementation of e-Rostering, specifically in relation to the job planning elements and requirements.
**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Educated to HR / business / systems degree level or equivalent academic standard, or equivalent experience
- Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development
- ECDL or Microsoft Office Specialist qualification, or equivalent experience
- Supervisory experience
- Experience of delivering against internal / external SLAs
- Experience of using Allocate HealthRoster
- Knowledge of medical job plan elements
- Ability to provide system training to others
- Well-developed interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities with a varied and unpredictable workload
- Ability to extract, interpret and analyse information and produce reports
- Knowledge of records management, information governance and data protection standards
- Understanding of the European Working Time Directive (EWTD)
