The Role
The role is for an experienced Maintenance Planner to plan the workload of six skilled Maintenance Engineers in a globally recognised chemical processing plant who manufacture products for supermarkets and global pharmaceutical businesses. You will be responsible for work schedule planning, route planning, supervising & managing Maintenance Engineer workload.
- Liaising with Maintenance Engineers on maintenance issues that arise.
- Maintaining database records with up to date job cards - updating them as needed.
- Managing workload.
- Continuously improving planning, maintenance and management systems to increase planning effectiveness and efficiency.
- Working closely with senior management to devise and implement methods to improve plant efficiency, design and performance.

You will have two plus years of exposure in a planning role (ideally as a Maintenance Planner).
- Experience using a CRM or CMMS system to log and manage data.
- Technical/analytical background.
- Experience organising and managing engineering, stores and 5S ideally.
