Fleet Maintenance Assistant

You will be responsible for assisting the maintenance and planning of our growing double deck trailer rental fleet. You will be responsible for minimising breakdown response times by utilising all available resources to deliver scheduled maintenance in line with the fixed maintenance plan.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Answering the Tiger Rentals phoneline
- Being the first point of customer contact for any queries
- Manage the rental trailer compliance as per customer specification and DVSA requirements, including sending planners to customers
- Arrange defect and roadside breakdown repairs using national engineer network
- Chase vendor Bodyshop and own workshop repairs
- Process maintenance documentation and ensuring all compliance is up to date
- Process invoices and PO requests
- Provide customer service for all rental customers
- Chase customer Pos for any completed work
- Chase vendors for outstanding paperwork and costings

- Organised, proactive and self-motivated individual
- Strong communication/relationship building skills with an enthusiastic, driven and determined attitude
- Ability to work well within a team communicating but also able to complete individual tasks in a timely manner
- Excellent customer service and telephone manner
- Strong IT skills

**Key skills and experience**
- Experience in the planning of day to day activities of a trailer fleet
- Experience in supplier authorisation processes
- Knowledge and understanding of compliance/operator’s licence requirements
- Management of trailer fleet files and documentation for legislative requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role /faced paced environment (desirable)
- This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, IT literate individual to develop and progress further
