Mpeople recruitment have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced **Bookkeeper** to join the team of a well-established, fast growing business, based in the Bury area on permanent contract.
- **Role**: Bookkeeper
- **Location**:Bury
- **Salary**: Up to £28,000 DOE
- **Hours**:Full time, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required for working patterns across 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm and 10am to 6pm depending on the needs of the business.

**Duties as a Bookkeeper will include but not be limited to**:

- Operating Sage/Xero to raise and enter invoices.
- Processing sales orders and purchase orders through Sage/Xero.
- Maintaining and updating files to ensure they are accurate.
- Adhering to strict deadlines.
- Handling multiple curries and bank accounts etc.
- Completing VAT returns.
- Dealing with bank reconciliations.
- Processing payroll though Sage/Xero.
- Producing accounts to trial balance stage.

**Successful Bookkeeper’s will possess the following skills**:

- Experience operating SAGE/XERO accounting.
- Ideally 3 years experience within a similar position.
- AAT or equivalent in accountancy.
- Excellent communication skills.
