Reporting into the CEO and managing a small but highly experienced team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving a positive culture across the business, championing the profile of Risk & Compliance to ensure that R&C is seen as a key stakeholder and pointof focus in strategic change.
This is a very broad, hands-on role that includes financial crime management as MLRO as well as GDPR management in the capacity of DPO, in addition to Compliance Advice, Monitoring and Assurance.
You’ll already have proven experience in a Compliance leadership role, ideally as an SMF16 & SMF17, within a mortgage business (intermediary or lender). You’ll need to have experience of ICO DPA / GDPR regulations as well as a strong working knowledge ofrelevant FCA sourcebooks (MCOB, ICOB, DISP, SYSC etc.).
In addition it would be great if you’ve had experience of developing and implementing Risk & Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures.
