**We are seeking an experienced admissions specialist to join the University's Admissions Management team, based in the Academic Registry.**

The Deputy Head of Admissions leads the operational delivery of the University’s admissions service, ensuring excellent customer service for applicants to Brighton’s diverse portfolio of courses. Closely supported by the Head of Admissions, the Deputy Head leads on allocating work across the service, with a focus on ensuring admissions colleagues are trained on the latest policies and practices.

A confident and credible communicator, you will be comfortable developing collaborative and constructive relationships with academic leaders and admissions contacts in the University’s academic Schools, and for working with a range of external partners, for example the University’s international college provider. To be successful in this role, you should have:

- a commitment to customer service excellence for applicants
- experience and knowledge of higher education admissions processes
- experience of managing or supervising people, including training and briefing colleagues on processes (which could be informal supervisory experience)
- ability to build relationships with a wide range of colleagues
