Client Summary:
Leading manufacturer and front line supplier of powertrain products based in the UK and Ireland. Areas of expertise include Engine Overhaul, final Drive Overhaul and locomotive refurbishment.
Position Summary:
To coordinate and drive plans that deliver customer demand on-time in-full, from the start of the process to delivery. To analyse and monitor all stages for capacity bottlenecks, opportunities for improvement, reduce delays and impacts, design and implementrecovery plans where required, and communicate all effectively to stakeholders.
To ensure the required information and materials reach production in line with production schedules. To work within production work streams while coordinating plans with the Demand Planning Manager and wider Planning team.

**Responsibilities**:
*Attention to detail and ability to ensure people and processes adhere to procedures.
*Accurate and timely completion of tasks..
*Communicate to all stakeholders to ensure single informed version of truth. Delivery
*Produce short-, medium-, and long-term master production schedules in accordance with existing and potential customer requirements versus capacities.
*Launch work orders in accordance with master production schedule.
- Coordinate with Projects to ensure potential delivery of existing plus arising demand.
- Coordinate with Engineering to ensure full and accurate Bills of Material.
*Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely availability of materials.
*Coordinate with Stores to ensure complete and accurate parts supplied to line.
*Coordinate with Quality to ensure accurate and full production documents and Excel Wraps.
*Coordinate with Production to monitor WIP and ensure accurate and timely production of goods, including processes for work arising during production.
*Input into monthly and annual site-deliverable SI&OP.
*Ensure the appropriate feeds and parameters are in MRP to drive material purchase and production hours consumption.
*Proactive involvement with improvement activities to develop processes, people, and materials that ensure continuous improvement, including the delivery of cost savings.
*Perform any other duties as appropriate within the scope of your role, skills and competencies.
Person Profile/Experience:
*Experience with Oracle ERP or similar ERP preferred.
*Experience in detailed reporting and planning in a production/service setting.
*Product and customer knowledge preferred.
*Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Projects.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal at all levels of the organization.
*Problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on tactical and strategic levels, cross-functionally, and under pressure and to deadlines.
Qualifications:
*Relevant engineering qualifications but not a necessity for an experienced person.
