New Age Marketing Limited is recruiting a team of Children’s Residential Support Worker for one of our clients in Derby, Derbyshire. You will have previous experience of working within a Children’s Residential setting caring for those with **Learning Disabilities.**

The client specialises in the care of children between the ages of 8-18, with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Emotional Behavioural Disorder (EBD). Their homes are Ofsted registered to care for 2 young people and are currently all rated as “GOOD”.
- To provide a high quality & safe living environment appropriate to the circumstances / ages of the young people.
- Ensure the Young People are being appropriately cared for in accordance with aims and objectives of the Children Acts 1989 & 2004, Care Standards Act 2000 and other relevant legislation & organisation policies.
- Providing a positive role model for the Young People
- To work under the direction of the Registered Manager / Deputy Manager, contributing to the day to day work of the home, ensuring its operation in an effective way by providing a safe environment.
- To meet the needs of young people, who may be violent, present challenging behaviours, are disabled and/or have complex health & care needs.
- To promote corporate and inter-agency responsibility for young people Looked After by the organisation.
- To work alongside other professionals in the best interest of the young people and at all times uphold professional conduct on official organisational duties.

**Qualifications**
- 6 months experience as a care worker (Essential)
- 3 months experience working as a childcare worker (desirable)
- Driving License (Desirable)
- DBS Clearance (Essential)

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

- 12 hour shift

- Night shift
