The job of a Payroll Training Coach is a key role to create and deliver internal training and coaching to payroll services colleagues. This role will be targeted to increase the level of relevant skills and knowledge in support of the business short
- and long-range plans with accountability to deliver payroll services to contractual requirements, quality standards and delivery against SLAs and KPIs. You will create and deliver all payroll services training, including legislation, operations, and product releases and provide pivotal support to the CET business with upgrade roll outs of to our products.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Design and deliver in-house training courses, sessions and workshops specific to payroll either in groups, 1-2-1 or online environments
- Provide continuous assessment of training needs in collaboration with Team Managers
- Develop and maintain and deliver against a roadmap of key training sessions set by the business
- Provide feedback reporting and individual skills assessments
- Liaise with the operational readiness teams to prepare key training sessions for planned upgrades and schedule appropriately
- Drive efficiencies in processes to ensure lean and efficient ways of working
- Drive lean maturity, incorporating leadership, problem solving, process confirmations, standard operating procedures, and timings
- Work in collaboration with existing teams to build knowledge and drive consistency
- Monitor and manage KPIs with Team Manager to identify training gaps
- Keep up to date with developments in training styles, techniques, and resources to ensure appropriate and effective training delivery
- Maintain current legislation knowledge within payroll
- Deliver training sessions to customers as and when required

**KNOWLEDGE, TECHNICAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Demonstrable knowledge of payroll processing and legislation
- Demonstrable knowledge of payroll systems
- Evidence of coaching or training
- Analytical and strategic thinking with ability to influence at all levels
- Track record of excellent organisational, and time management skills
- Ability to escalate effectively and to provide data driven rationale to drive future change
