To be the key individual responsible for developing and managing systems for assurance and compliance in relation to various aspects of chemical usage, waste management, export controls, National Security and Investment Act and other key areas of compliance. To provide a web content, e-learning development and project management support service to colleagues across Compliance & Risk.
- Provide web content and e-learning development expertise to enable Compliance & Risk colleagues to rapidly move from content to embedded web pages and training programmes.
- Provide basic MS Project support to colleagues in order to support project management and planning.
- Production of reports for the Research Compliance Committee as necessary.
- Any other appropriate duties as determined by the Director of Compliance & Risk

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- University degree and/or substantial university professional experience with complex admin processes.
- An analytical mind-set and attention to detail are essential for this role.
- Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills (oral and written)
- The ability to make independent decisions, demonstrate good problem solving, negotiating and mediation skills.
- Work independently with moderate guidance and as part of a team. Highly developed IT skills (inc. MS Project and web authoring)
- Relevant work experience
- Knowledge of the academic research environment

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £33,309.00 per year
