**How you will make Plan Zero happen**
- Lead a number of energy & sustainable experts, across a number of different service lines, in delivering net zero for a leader in sustainability
- Provide leadership and management to a number of multi-discipline teams, including; energy management, technical solutions, M&V, and Facilities Management Service lines
- Cradle to grave oversight of large scale decarbonisation projects across an industrial portfolio ensuring opportunities are identified and progressed to robust proposals, supporting the securing of these, and ensuring they are delivered to client and business requirements with appropriate reporting to accompany this
- Creating asset management approaches suitable to a variety of projects and programmes of work, not limited to; Energy Efficiency, Renewables, and Energy Investment
- Have a clear understanding of the circular economy, and how to implement across a number of different service lines throughout an Integrated Facilities Management contract
- Develop propositions for integrating key standards, such as ISO:50001
- Management and creation of accurate and timely stakeholder reporting, including reporting to clients and internal stakeholders
- Keep up to date with regulatory changes and technological innovation, and cascade to internal, and external, stakeholders

**What will you do day to day?**
- Lead a true sustainability pioneer in achieving their aggressive Sustainability targets
- Manage a large energy reduction programme; combining both technical expertise, and excellent stakeholder management, to ensure the continued success of this contract
- Lead in the development of Net Zero frameworks across a diverse portfolio - Managing the development of these projects, and creating the commercial models to deliver them
- Manage and mentor across a matrix managed business units, providing expertise across a number of energy and sustainability topics, and lead in the development of appropriate solutions
- Develop opportunities for commercial growth across all areas of energy & sustainability

**Who will you work with?**
- Sitting in the contract Leadership Team, operating with likeminded individuals,
- Leading a major contract for Mitie, matrix manage c.50 energy and sustainability experts in delivering the services for the customer
- Part of an IFM contract; covering a number of different service lines. To act as the expert across Energy & Sustainability

**Qualifications**
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline is preferable

**Experience & Skills**
- Extensive experience within energy and be able to demonstrate client management skills
- Expertise within the built environment, and technologies available in reducing/eradicating carbon
- Proven leader and manager with the capability to develop and manage a matrix managed team
- Expert in net zero, and substantial experience of delivering energy efficiency projects, either at a technical, or project management, level
- Experience of management, implementation, and delivery of ISO:50001 and other accreditations and standards
- The ability to work under pressure and to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach, with a positive attitude and a drive for high standards
- A dynamic approach to business, demonstrating an ability to embrace change and seek for better ways of working
- Ability to manage your own time to achieve delivery goals across multiple sites and projects
