**Company description**:
- To provide a quality, professional and effective assessment of clients’ vehicles against pre-specified criteria
- To supervise and organise Vehicle Inspectors on one or more clients’ sites.
- Provide support and assistance to Regional Operations Manager.
- Provide advice and assistance within own area of competence, ensuring that in other cases where client requires information, or assistance are directed to the appropriate Team Leader or AA service or department.
**This is the job**:
- Carry out vehicle checks to a high standard on client’s premises against set criteria within set time frames. Ensure the same standards from all team members by managing inconsistencies in weekly reporting levels
- Carry out audits, tool checks, site safety checks, induction coaching, ad-hoc investigations, support recruitment and other administrative tasks.
- Support the management of front-line Vehicle Inspectors. Lead, motivate and develop teams to exceed internal and external customer expectations, by supporting the delivery of new projects and initiatives that add value.
- Ensure all clients sites within area of responsibility are staffed appropriately to ensure contract obligations are met by the AA
- Proactively seek solutions to on-site issues to resolve client problems in relation to the service provided by the AA
- Direct AA workforce to ensure maximum productivity of AA staff and contractual obligations for the AA’s clients.
- Demonstrate leadership and effective communication skills to deliver key business
messages and achieve team ‘buy-in’.
- Ensure that health and safety practices are being followed by the vehicle inspection team and also that clients uphold their responsibility to site safety. This includes the use of PPE, following procedures and correct use of tooling and equipment
- Promote the AA and its services by projecting an efficient and professional image from yourself and your team at all times.

**Health and safety requirements**

- Ability to work with other workers not employed by the AA on the same working site
- Previous car inspection or appraisal work
- Previous MOT experience
- At least 2 years industry experience within last 5 years.
