**About the role**

We are looking for a talented Senior Web Analyst to drive the data and insight behind the next generation of our platform and products. Using state-of-the-art, enterprise-level tools our Web Analysts work with almost every area of the business, so thereis no shortage of opportunities to make an impact.

Some of the exciting projects you might work on are; enabling online transactions as we evolve from a digital advertising to a digital retailing platform; driving insight on the demand for electric vehicles for our commercial data partners; enabling a real-timepersonalised experience for buyers on our website.

You will have influential involvement in our digital road map, looking at ways to instil best practices, utilising data to push through decisions and validate hypotheses. You’ll have the opportunity to lead, coach, and mentor members of the team and helpguide the team towards delivering goals and setting the roadmap. This may be technical or could be things such as prioritisation, or stakeholder management/engagement.

You will be a key contributor to several workstreams and will collaborate with multi-functional squads with engineers, product owners/leads, designers, and developers, so you will be collaborating in a team with a diverse set of skills.

Web Analysts form part of a wider analytical community of Data Scientists and Data Analysts. Together we share our analysis and research and provide technical feedback and mentorship in regular stand-ups and feedback sessions. Collectively, it is our missionis to empower Auto Trader, our customers, and our consumers to make data-driven decisions.

**What we're looking for**
- A web analytics mentor who is confident in coaching others in web analytics best practice across enterprise-level tools such as Google Analytics 360 and Snowplow
- Experience as a Web Analyst (or similar role) in a commercial environment
- Hands-on experience in delivering robust AB/multi-variant testing projects
- Experience with SQL and extracting large volumes of data from a data warehouse
- Experience taking on a high degree of responsibility as an analytical leader in a cross-functional team - we aren’t a centralised analytics function, we work with a mixed range of people
- Experienced in promoting visualisation best practices and taking a holistic responsibility for the analytical outputs of their team
- It would also be beneficial (but not essential) if you have:_
- Knowledge of app analytics, and cross-platform tracking
- Experience with segmentation or customer data platforms, and their capabilities

We're offering a competitive salary between £40,000-£60,000 and a flexible benefits package to support your health and well-being. You'll have 28 days holiday per year, and that's in addition to bank holidays and half day closures on Christmas and New Year'sEve.
