**Who are we looking for?**
We have a great opportunity for an experienced, delivery focused and results driven Talent Partner to join our growing team. Tasked with helping UKAEA assess and build capability in line with organisational objectives, you will have the ability to build effectiverelationships across all business areas, gaining an in depth understanding of the technical competences and skills required throughout the organisation.
The Talent Partner will support the design and delivery of talent and performance projects, mechanisms and processes, with the goal of assessing and building the capability of individuals and teams to enable managers to develop and manage talent effectively.This will include leading on the implementation of talent frameworks, creating and delivering tools and processes to identify, manage and map talent, whilst creating alignment within the way talent is managed across UKAEA.
You will have good project management skills and experience (planning and organising) as well as excellent communicating and influencing skills. To succeed in this role, you will be able to collaborate across multiple teams and departments
**What will you be responsible for?**:

- Take a lead role in key talent/people development projects including the design and implementation of a technical competency framework to ensure quality, safety, capability and consistency across UKAEA.
- Working in collaboration with the wider People Department and technical experts across UKAEA, define suitable assessment methods and tools to effectively assess competence and ensure consistency across the occupations as well as promote and advise on competencydevelopment and training opportunities.
- Support the continued creation and roll out of generic job descriptions, ensuring alignment between skill types and competencies.
- Work collaboratively with Strategic People Business Partners to ensure the delivery of succession planning and development opportunities are in place for all business areas and a consistent approach is adopted.
- Collaborate with technical experts across the organisation to support the creation of career pathways and provide clarity on career growth opportunities.
- Support in the creation and development of succession planning tools and processes across UKAEA to facilitate the retention of employees whilst developing talent pipelines for future requirements.
- Ensure all aspects of talent management reflect a deep commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
**Qualifications**
**Essential skills, experience and competence required**:

- Experience in designing, implementing and developing talent and/or development tools, frameworks and/or processes
- Significant stakeholder management skills and experience with ability to influence at all levels
- Excellent communication and team working skills
- Significant systems knowledge and experience
- Relevant degree, CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (significant) HR knowledge and experience
**Desirable skills, experience and competence**:

- Experience leading on projects through to completion
- Experience working within a technical, engineering or scientific research environment.
