Retail - Store Supervisor

**Job Title**:
Retail - Store Supervisor.

**Main Purpose of Job**:
Support the Store Manager in achieving the financial objectives.

**Responsible to**:
The Store Manager.

**Main Skills Needed/Responsibilities of Job**:

- Has previous clothing retail experience and knowledge to deliver a fantastic retailer experience.
- Be able to confidently work well in a team and also be able to help mentor, supervise and motivate a small team.
- To be open and honest with good communication with staff and customers
- To have excellent customer management skills and make decisions in the best interests of the customer.
- Be prepared to work a variation of hours within the store, opening hours of which cover a 7 day week and will also require some weekend work.
- Be responsible for opening and closing which will include some cash handling
- Complete day to day administration tasks including using the till systems and also use of the work laptop
- Review, check and record deliveries received. Highlighting any anomalies.
- Deputise for the Store Manager in their absence.
- Support the Store Manager in delivering the financial objectives and targets.
- Have involvement in weekly trade meetings in the absence of your manager where you will be expected to understand sales, sales goals and KPI's.
- Ensure availability of merchandise and services by maintaining systems and records.
- Contribute and lead the team effort.
- Follow visual merchandising guidelines, ensuring standards meet the company's expectations.

**-**Compliance to business administration and stock management policies

**-**Complaint to HR, Employment Law and Health & Safety legislation

**-**Liaising with all store personnel and external customers to ensure the above tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £12.20 per hour
