We are looking for 4 Inventory controller in our Derby site. The position holder will support the Derby warehouse operation by processing inbound / outbound goods in line with customer expectations.

Key responsibilities:
- Goods receiving, picking put away, replenishment and despatch. Use of WMS solution to accurately track and control inventory.
- General warehouse duties which will include the use of manual handling techniques and use of MHE.
- Ensure that any issues with meeting expectations are communicated both within Yusen Logistics business and to the customer as required.
- Establish and maintain good customer relationships, both internally and externally. Act as a customer contact for order updates and load processing.
- Ensuring that professional and effective communication is always maintained.
- Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity
- Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to all times, raising any non-compliances or concerns at the earliest opportunity.
Key requirements:
- Warehouse and Transport understanding
- Proven ability to interface with customers.
- Working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Manhattan Scale and SAP
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Team player who can use initiative when required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- IT - Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines.
