We’re looking for a LNG Shipping Operator to operate a global fleet of chartered LNG tankers.

With ensuring the safe and efficient operation of LNG tankers around the world we’re leaders in the LNG shipping industry, specialising in the safe and reliable transportation of liquefied natural gas (LNG) across the globe. With a diverse fleet of chartered LNG tankers, we play a vital role in meeting the energy needs of communities around the world.

What you will do?
- Post-fixture (port agency, bunker procurement, voyage orders, heel management, shipping invoices settlements,, ship-shore compatibility coordination, performance monitoring, shipping claims management and others)
- Voyage evaluation and planning, fuel management
- Communication with vessels, vessel owners/operators, counterparties and terminals, and other shipping stakeholders
- Acting as a professional, reliable and commercially minded member of LNG Operations team and close cooperation with the wider LNG Team as well as Settlements and other functions across the organisation
- Support of Integrated Maritime Operations System (IMOS) and interaction with Back Office teams globally
- Other responsibilities as directed by management

What you’ll bring to the role?
- Commercial and analytical mindset and proven ability to create value
- First class understanding of shipping technology and commercial issues (with a strong preference for LNG experience)
- Knowledge and experience in IMOS (or similar), SAP and MS Office
- Pro-active and able to work as part of a global team to ensure a seamless service is provided for our trading activities globally
- Strong desire and ability to learn and develop
- Able to work in a fast-moving environment under pressure
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team, but also individually with mínimal supervision
- Ability to build business relationships at all levels (internally and externally)
- Office-based experience in LNG Shipping Operations
- Sea-going experience on tanker vessels (advantageous)
