A leading and innovative drinks supplier is looking for a Senior National Account Manager to join their Grocery team. **Remote working. Competitive Salary.**
Reporting into the Head of Sales, the successful Senior National Account Manager will help introduce exciting new innovative brands to the UK drinks market and manage key national customers to drive and develop sales of brands using their contacts in themajor UK multiple grocers and wholesalers.
Senior National Account Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Boost sales of current listings and to gain new listings in both new and existing customers.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to produce Customer specific proposals and presentations
- Develop and maintain relationships within new and existing accounts.
- Take full P&L responsibility and ownership of budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.
- Instrumental in writing and managing JBPs, trading terms, customer pricing, and implementation of cost price increases.
- Execute Brand strategy and activation plans in line with our Marketing plans.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and customer & competitor activity
- Collaborate and work cross functionally across key departments in the business.
- Proven track record within Drink sales within supermarkets
- Network of current contacts and relationships in multiple grocers and national wholesalers
- Account development and management skills
- Ability to create detailed proposals using industry knowledge and consumer insight
- Wine knowledge (ideally WSET qualified) advantageous
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Highly numerate and analytical, with strong IT skills
- Creativity and problem solving
- Drive, tenacity, and growth mindset
- Commercial acumen with an eye for detail
