The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a **Team Leader Cleaner **for our client in **Farnborough.**

**Hours**: 20 hours per week / 4 hours per day 17:00 - 21:00hrs

**Shift Pattern**:Monday to Friday

**Salary**:

- **£11.70 per hour**

**LOCATION**:Farnborough

**Essential Requirements**:

- Previous Supervisory Experience is ideal
- Cleaning experience is preferable
- Good understanding of Health & Safety
- To be competent in the use of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word and Excel
- This role will require you to be flexible with your working hours due to cover requirements

**JOB ROLE**
- This is a hands-on cleaning supervisor role, you will be required to undertake the cleaning to ensure that the service is delivered effectively and efficiently to a high standard, undertaking but not limited to: spot cleaning carpets; Cleaning: Offices, Meeting Rooms, Kitchen areas and Specialist Workshop, Atrium & floor cleaning.
- Must be prepared to use and train staff on various pieces of cleaning machinery, including but not limited to: T3, T5, Multi-wash, Scrubber/Dryer, Swing Buffers, Rovawash etc
- Support the Account Manager and Daytime Site Supervisor to deliver the Hygiene and Environmental requirements on the contract
- Organise and lead the evening team ensuring that the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA’s agreements in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Deal/address with staff issues/concerns and record appropriately
- Ensure that staff, are fully aware of the level of expectations/standards required to meet the contractual needs
- To actively promote and support management and participate, in developing and delivering the team day to day training and ensure your own personal online training courses are completed in a timely manner
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are being adhered to at all times
- To manage and control issuing and usage of cleaning materials on site, making sure that the correct cleaning materials are used for the task in hand

**JOB OBJECTIVES**
- Support the Account Manager and the Site Supervisor to deliver Hygiene and Environmental requirements on the contract
- Organise and lead the Evening Cleaning Team, ensuring that the contract service delivery is of a high standard, meeting all SLA’s agreements in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Monitor work performances to ensure the correct standards are met and that they are working effectively within the company’s safe systems of work
- Keep open lines of communication between the Cleaning Operatives, other Supervisors and the Mitie Management team
- Empowering and motivating your team by your actions, developing healthy team relationships, promoting ownership of the Business Goals
