**About Us**

We are a Builders Merchants based in Rochester, Kent. We supply a huge range of building and timber materials. We have knowledgeable staff ready to help and a delivery service second to none.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**

Provide excellent customer service.

Deal with customers on a day to day basis in the yard, building long term relationships.

Ensure all sales orders are promptly processed to meet customer needs.

Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles.

Keeping a clean and tidy yard.

Check incoming goods against suppliers delivery noteS.

Assign materials to the proper yard location.

Maintain and merchandise the yard stock.

Willing to perform any duties as may be deemed necessary or as may be required by the Company.

Operating counter balance fork lift.

Forklift Counterbalance Licence (required).

**Hours of work Full time**

Monday-Friday 7am-5.30pm

Every other Saturday from 7.30am-2pm

**We are looking for**

The applicant must have the ability to deal with a wide variety of customers, isn't afraid of hard work and is a team player. Previous experience working in a busy yard environment would be preferable.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £29,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
