We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Yard Staff. As a Yard Staff member, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse and yard. This is a physically demanding position that requires heavy lifting and the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Handle incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

- Load and unload materials from trucks using forklifts or other equipment

- Create a positive work experience for all staff working in your team with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular counts and reconciliations

- Organize and maintain the warehouse and yard for optimal efficiency

- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

- A counter balance forklift license

- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

- Excellent communication skills

Hours of work:

Monday-Friday 7am-5.30pm

Every other Saturday 7.30am-12.30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £32,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
