Iconic Resourcing HR are delighted to partner with Fujifilm Imaging Colorants as they seek to add a HR Advisor to join their small but busy team, following a recent internal promotion. Operating out of their Grangemouth office, the role will support all aspects of the employee lifecycle and be involved in a wide range of people related matters.
**The Role**
Working closely with the HR Lead, the HR Advisor will be responsible for providing pro-active first line support to all employees’ regarding general HR queries, providing guidance and/or direction as appropriate and actively supporting the achievement of the organisation’s overall goals.
Day to day, you will deliver effective HR guidance with reference to appropriate policies, legislation, and practices, taking account of commercial priorities. You will maintain relevant documentation, ensuring all contractual/legal documents and templates are kept up to date and in line with current legislation and collate HR data and trend analysis. As well as this, you will coordinate and deliver inductions and probation process as well as being involved in the employee recognition scheme.
You will maintain and utilise the HR Information System (HRIS) to capture data to allow analysis, ensure accuracy of HR and Payroll data, completing appropriate calculations and generally maintain strong record management practices in all areas, particularly employee files, job descriptions, training, and health. You will also support the implementation of a robust and integrated training records system that evidences employee competence.
The HR Advisor will also have a particular focus on employee relations casework, conducting initial stages of disciplinary, grievance and absence management and supporting with investigations and resolving employee relations issues. As well as this, you will ensure employees are informed on policy/procedural changes and support with the roll out of employee engagement initiatives.
Overall, you will forge collaborative relationships with stakeholders such as leadership groups, management, team leads and colleagues across the wider business, acting as an ambassador supporting the organisational values and goals. You will be comfortable providing credible guidance and interventions and will embed the core values of the business into policies, procedures, communications and activities.
You will be approachable with the ability to flex your style to suit situational requirements and be able to communicate effectively across a range of groups, using the appropriate communication methods needed based on the target audience and the complexity of the information being imparted. You will also be able to recognise potential problems before they occur by being aware of different situations and ways of dealing with such situations effectively. In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive package to include a basic annual salary up to £40,000 dependant on experience.
Fujifilm Imaging Colourants (FFIC) Ltd is part of Fujifilm’s Ink Solutions Group (FISG), comprising of 4 companies based in the UK, USA and India, responding to the Group CEO and with a Regional COO responsible for 3 of the businesses including FFIC Ltd. FFIC Ltd has a manufacturing site in Grangemouth running a continuous manufacturing process. The R&D function is based at Grangemouth and supports manufacturing and commercial projects. Sales and Marketing are provided through FISG’s dedicated resource.
