**About the role**

Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Sales (Mid-Market & Public Sector), you will be responsible for the commercial performance of our Mid-Market Corporate channel. You will be leading a team of experienced Business Managers and working with some of the UK's largest employers to deliver our ambitious growth targets, making this role both challenging and high profile.

This is very much a leadership role and you will have full autonomy. You will be a manager of people and will take a lead role on strategic and commercial decisions. With a clear vision, you will help provide the direction for this channel and set the tone, working closely with our internal support and management team. These relationships will prove vital to your success in the role.

Building growth and maximising profitability will be key to your success. With the customer at the heart of everything you do. You will need both new business and business development skills. Your ability to pitch, negotiate and sell needs to be balanced with sound implementation and long-term relationship management skills too.

This role is 'Field based', so comes with a complete 'home working kit'. Whilst you can be based anywhere in the UK, there will be a requirement to attend regular meetings in our Swindon office as well as with customers.

**About You**

An experienced people manager, having led field-based teams in the leasing industry and with people skills tuned to perfection, you are; switched on and commercially focussed on sales, aligned to our customers' requirements. With a proven record of accomplishment in leading successful sales teams, you will have strong evidence to highlight your success.

As an expert coach who is able to manage and motivate team members who are both new to post and experienced hands, leading will come naturally to you. Utilising your fluid style of management, you can effortlessly adapt to suit all styles when it comes to recruiting, retaining and developing talent. Thereby laying strong foundations for future sustainable growth.

Being someone who understands the complexities of leasing products and services, you will be able to articulate our commercial strategy clearly and succinctly, sharing this with your team and clients alike. Commercially astute, politically savvy, you are equally happy talking through a new business sales pitch over a coffee or presenting to a senior Board of Directors.

Having the customer at the heart of all you do, you welcome ownership and accountability and are an exceptional communicator and very comfortable in challenging settings. From conflict management and negotiation to decision-making and teamwork, you effortlessly manage these challenges with ease and credibility.

Finally, we need a strategic thinker. Someone able to take a long-term view for the customer and Arval. A keen commercial eye with true financial awareness is required for success in the role. Along with the drive to always enhance and improve the customer experience, whilst managing all stakeholders, be that internal, external or within the wider Arval business (UK and Group) and BNP Paribas Group.
