Set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District, the Bakewell Old House Museum is a Tudor dwelling. After nearly five hundred years of continuous use, it now plays host to a wide range of artefacts telling the story of the Peak District and beyond.

**Main purpose**

There are two possible areas you can help as a Group Visits volunteer. You can help on the day and/or help with the organisation of the visits.

**You shall be**
- assisting with our Group Visits (e.g., from U3A, WI or other Societies)
- helping to liaise with the groups and perhaps reaching out to new ones

**The role would suit someone who**
- enjoys engaging with people
- is interested in learning about the stories the museum tells
- wants to help an independent charity in Bakewell

**In return we shall offer you**
