**Position**

As a Shift Operations Supervisor, you’ll be allocated responsibility for a range of activities within the 4 main departments of the operation;
- Returns
- Goods in
- Warehouse Control
- Dispatch

**Shift Pattern & Pay**:
8:00AM-8:00PM 3 on 3 off shift pattern

Up to £27,000 per year DOE

**Responsibilities**

**_Managing your team_**
- Ensure all KPIs set by Senior Management are met by your team according to their SLA time frames.
- Ensure all employees are adhering to the warehouse SOP guidelines set by the Operations Development team.
- Proactively monitor workloads and backlogs within your team, and feedback relevant information to the Operations Shift Manager.
- Take direct ownership of your team, identifying risks and raising concerns to the Operations Shift Manager.
- Promote a culture of teammate engagement.
- Ensure your team’s working areas are cleaned and fully set up, ready for the following shift.

**_Training_**
- Aid the operations shift manager in identifying training needs within your allocated teams, upskilling operatives where necessary, using the skills matrix.

**_Reporting_**
- Produce your team’s daily report.
- Produce ad hoc productivity reports.

**_Other_**
- Always strive to develop your own skills and operational knowledge.
- Assist your operations shift manager with Return to works and Investigations where necessary.
- Assist with ad hoc operations projects.
- Put forward suggestions for process improvements.

**_Health & Safety_**
- Ensure all H&S policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.

**Experience**
- Experience in similar supervisory role, leading teams and working in fast-moving environment.
- Ability to effectively analyse data.
- Delivering and leading process change.
- Strong communication skills and ability to motivate a team.
- Experience in managing people.
- Experience conducting risk assessments and mitigate risks.
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
- Logistics 3PL / Retail.
