Warehouse Co-ordinator

**Job Summary**

Six Contract Furniture is a leading British manufacturer and supplier of bespoke upholstery, fixed seating, bespoke joinery, and contract furniture. Due to continued expansion, we now have for opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Stourbridge.

**Key Tasks / Responsibilities**
- Daily recording of goods received into our Sage system.
- Warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely fulfilment of orders.
- Receive stock 2-4 x 40 HC shipping containers per month.
- Management of quality - control and inventory.
- Packing of bespoke goods, i.e. wrapping and boxing.
- Stock fulfilment 3-4 courier collections per week, which will require picking, packing and labelling.
- Manage transportation management systems to optimise logistics and delivery schedules.
- Sustain efficient warehouse management systems to optimize storage utilisation and operational performance.
- Oversee, and maintain inventory levels and ensure the maintenance of sufficient stock, while organising items in accordance with contractual arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Work closely with the Production, Supply Chain, and technical teams to coordinate and align warehouse activities with production schedule.
- To ensure a clean and tidy working environment.
- Oversee any temporary staff requirements.

**Personal Profile**
- Proven experience in warehouse environment, Ideally for Furniture.
- Knowledge of supply chain principles, including shipping, receiving and warehouse.
- Experience with Transportation management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Have significant self-motivation and initiative with the ability to manage own workload and work with minimum supervision
- Ability show initiative in proactive working
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to juggle conflicting priorities
- Must be able to problem solve easily
- Practical, hands-on approach
- Forklift truck licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
