Job Title: Estimator - Architectural Steel

Location: Slough or surrounding areas
Remuneration: £40,000 - £60,000 + project related commission

The role of the Estimator - Architectural Steel will involve:

- Estimator position dealing with a high end range of architectural metal and structural steel systems
- Predominantly dealing with main contractors
- Carrying out take-offs from drawings and measurements to produce bills of quantities/price schedules
- Producing quotations to clients, and turning these into jobs
- Preparing and submitting accurate and detailed tenders within the timeframe provided
- Following up all submitted tenders, receiving feedback from clients and updating records accordingly
- Continue to develop relationships with clients to secure further business
- Liaising with managers and other estimator to facilitate the progression of tenders and projects
- Producing estimates for projects ranging from £100k to £1m in value

The ideal applicant will be Estimator - Architectural Steel with:

- Must have Estimating experience within the structural steel / architectural metals market sector
- Must have sound Excel and AutoCAD skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
- Ideally will have experience dealing with commercial and residential projects
- Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
